TPE 3: Understanding and Organizing Subject Matter for Student Learning Content Specific Pedagogy
In utilizing the four-stage learning map (planning, teaching, analyzing/ reflecting, applying) and considering all six elements (teacher, target, learners, assessments, instruction, management), I feel more confident in effectively organizing subject matter with multiple means of engagement, representation, and expression, thereby increasing the quality of my lesson plans.

In this assignment, I apply my knowledge of how to organize subject matter in order to maximize student engagement and learning. This assignment places emphasis on how to best meet my students' needs who are English learners (emerging, expanding, and bridging), standard English Learners, and learners with special needs (dyslexic).
