TPE 5: Assessing Student Learning

Through the development of the science literacy learning plan (see TPE 3) and the English literacy learning plan, I learned how to create more meaningful assessments that better engage my learners and allow them to better demonstrate the knowledge they have gained through my teaching practices. Specifically, I have developed an awareness of how to successfully create assessments with multiple means of expression in order to assess the knowledge of my students with a diverse range of strengths, needs, and learning styles.
